Assessed the relationship of stress to decline in intellectual abilities in women aged 65-92. Found stress was related to the ratio used to estimate decline. For 71 Israeli first graders, a significant correlation was obtained between creativity and decrease in repression. The various subtests and the four dimensions of creativity were separately analyzed in relation to anxiety and repression.
