A survey of older citizens concerning travel interests revealed constraints to participation in a travel program. A description is given of how research on attitudes and life styles indicated ways in which these constraints could be lessened. (JD)

Vacations Unlimited is a Mississauga, Ontario, vacation travel service which helps mentally handicapped adults plan and choose age appropriate vacations. With partial funding from the regional municipality, the organization supported 75 vacationers in 1986 who traveled together with a trained student guide in groups no larger than four. (DB)

Since 1974, Nova High School, a public high school in Davie, Florida, has offered selected students the opportunity to spend approximately six weeks in Europe studying the sources and influences of western civilization in Italy, France, England, and other locations.
