That explains the very little provision made for Africana in them and, consequently, the problems in classifying proliferating Africana material. Comparison of subject headings assigned to children's books by Library of Congress annotated cards, the Catalog Card Corporation of America, Library Journal cards and the H.W. Wilson Company. Great dissimilarity in assignment and application was found. All 128 books and their subject headings are listed. (JS)
