A study of social work field instructors' perceptions of the faculty field liaison's role and role performance found that while the role was viewed generally in a positive light, field instructors' perceptions and expectations for the liaison were extremely diverse, raising questions about the adequacy of training and performance. Examined role of grandparents in infancy in comparative analysis of grandparent-infant grandchild and parent-infant interaction patterns. Results revealed that both grandmothers and grandfathers were active interactive and support agents, with pattern of similarities and differences in interactive style across generation and gender.
