A graduate survey (n=575) of alumni vocational achievement, acceptance of responsibility in social groups, and further intellectual development was related to undergraduate grades. Holahan, Carole K.; And Others – Journal of College Student Personnel, 1983
Analyzed longitudinal data covering six years for transfer student (N=3,407) performance and degree completion. Results showed that: (1) transfer students completed degrees as often as nontransfers; (2) junior college transfers performed less well than other groups; and (3) sex and ethnicity related to performance and retention. Personal and Service Characteristics Affecting Group Home Placement Success: A Prospective Analysis.

It was found that mentally retarded individuals awaiting placement were younger, more intellectually and physically handicapped, and less skilled than persons already in group homes. Persons in jeapardy of placement failure had higher IQs, fewer mobility problems, and greater independence skills than other group home residents. (Author/SEW)

The prevalence of alcohol use among students at colleges in New York State was studied, along with sociodemographic characteristics that tend to be associated with heavy or moderate drinking or abstension.
