A preliminary classification is presented for functional human sexual disorders. This system is based on objective behavior and reports of distress. A random sample of 460 Southern Illinois University-Carbondale students surveyed in 1973 indicates that students' self-descriptions on the Clark-Trow typology of academic orientations are moderately associated with their perceptions of the university, with nonconformist types as the most distinct academic orientation.
