Evaluation on the Effect of Enhancing Vocal Music Training Experience with Virtual Reality Technology
International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies, v20 n1 2025
This study focuses on the application of virtual reality (VR) technology in the field of vocal music training. The author explored VR's application effect and provided references for the modernization of vocal music education. The author constructed a VR vocal music training system, elaborated on its hardware and software components and functions in detail, and designed relevant experiments. A total of 150 participants were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used the VR training system, while the control group adopted traditional training methods. The training lasted for 12 weeks. The results show that the improvement range of vocal music skills, such as pitch accuracy, rhythm, and timbre, in the experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group. Moreover, learners have a high satisfaction level with the VR training experience, and teachers' comprehensive evaluations of the experimental group are also higher. However, more research is necessary to solve the existing problems to promote the development of vocal music education.
