Dolton, P. J.; Makepeace, G. H. – Higher Education Review, 1982
Great Britain's 47 universities' characteristics were statistically analyzed to establish a typology. The classification was based on 21 variables, including institutional income, student demographics, enrollment, program quality measures, and library expenditures. Explores the impact of the social and academic diversity of the class on teachers' perspectives about their schools as workplaces.
