A questionnaire measuring attitudes toward grading systems was administered to undergraduate and graduate students and to faculty at a college using a 3-point system. The Honors-Pass-Fail system was more generally preferred. Differences among the groups were discussed and the results supported a dual system of grading. (Authors/JB)

A comparison between a T-Group course and a more traditional human relations course indicated the following findings: the T-Group course showed more here-and-now behavior, more group dynamics and less organizational dynamics content, more involvement, more perceived transfer of learning, and more percieved comfort with feelings. Surveyed master's level students (N=367) to assess knowledge perceptions of human development theory. Results showed the majority of respondents clearly valued human development theory and considered it a necessary qualification for student affairs practice. Compared the self-concept scores of 50 Chinese-American and 50 White graduate students and professionals on the Wallace Self-Concept Scale. Results showed less positive scores for Chinese Americans, who rated themselves less attractive, flexible, and active than Whites. Discusses the influence of cultural traits on self-concept. (JAC)
