Deditius-Island, Heide K.; Caruso, John C. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 2002
Conducted a reliability generalization study on Zuckerman's Sensation Seeking Scale (M. Zuckerman and others, 1964) using 113 reliability coefficients from 21 published studies. The reliability of scores was marginal for four of the five scales, and low for the other. Mean age of subjects has a significant relationship with score reliability. (SLD)

Lix, Lisa M.; And Others – Review of Educational Research, 1996
Meta-analytic techniques were used to summarize the statistical robustness literature on Type I error properties of alternatives to the one-way analysis of variance "F" test. The James (1951) and Welch (1951) tests performed best under violations of the variance homogeneity assumption, although their use is not always appropriate. (SLD)

Sawilowsky, Shlomo S. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 2000
B. Thompson and T. Vacha-Haase have examined the statement "the reliability of the test" with emphasis on the following three words: (1) the first "the"; (2) "test"; and (3) the second "the." This discussion focuses instead on the word "reliability." (Author)
