Two frame-of-reference rater training approaches were compared for effects on reliability and accuracy of cutoff scores generated by 21 raters using Angoff methods on tests taken by 155 undergraduates. A formula is derived for ascertaining factor scores for the factor analytic method: Little Jiffy, Mark IV. This formula is then employed to derive a second formula giving an exact determination of the generalized Kuder-Richardson estimate of the reliability of scores on a Little Jiffy factor. Counseling psychologists (N=8) recorded the time needed to score the Counselor Rating Form (CRF) and the CRF-Quick Score (CRF-QS).
