De Graffenreid, Helen; And Others – Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1978
An estimated ITPA Psychological Quotient (PQ) was compared to the WISC-R Verbal, Performance, and Full Scale IQs of developmentally disabled children, ages 6 to 13. The PQ related strongly to Verbal and Full Scale IQs. Implications for diagnosis and screening are discussed. (Author/SJL)

Primary school children were administered the Draw-A-Design and Draw-A Child subtests of the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities in a group setting. Results suggest that the McCarthy drawing tests may be administered validly in a group format, and that these scores are significantly related to school achievement. (Author/BW)

One hundred thirty-six pupils, aged 14-15 years, were given "general creativity" tests and "mathematical creativity" tests. Correlations between the two kinds of tests were near zero suggesting that creativity within mathematics is a specific ability. (MN)

Four methods of computing life change for one- and two-year periods were tested with two measures of college grades. The concurrent validity of the KIT was evaluated by correlating it with other tests of intellectual, perceptual, social, linguistic and psycholinguistic functioning, using a sample of 106 retardates. Positive correlations between the KIT and these other measures attest to its potential usefulness as a measure of intelligence. (Author)
