A model of vocational decision status was developed, and an instrument was constructed and used to assess its three dimensions. Results demonstrated the utility of the model, supported the reliability and validity of the instrument, and illustrated the value of viewing vocationally undecided students as multiple subtypes. Arithmetic and reading achievement scores of 84 children were correlated with power and precision of Bender Memory using the Bender Visual Memory Technique (BVMT). Factor analyses of the WISC, ITPA, and PIAT, revealed that 85 percent of the total variance of these tests can be accounted for by an abbreviated battery of 12 of the 26 subtests.
