Arithmetic and reading achievement scores of 84 children were correlated with power and precision of Bender Memory using the Bender Visual Memory Technique (BVMT). Factor analyses of the WISC, ITPA, and PIAT, revealed that 85 percent of the total variance of these tests can be accounted for by an abbreviated battery of 12 of the 26 subtests.
