Discusses media directors' knowledge of copyright law at higher education institutions. The results of two surveys about copyright are presented showing that only 10-15% of media directors could reach a 75% competency level of the law. Presents a bibliography of the best children's and young adult books that was compiled by various divisions of the ALA (American Library Association).
