Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) protocols for 242 acute psychiatric inpatients were scored on the 13 content scales. The age, IQ, and education of each subject were also recorded. Using the Imaginal Processes Inventory, aspects of daydreaming and related mental activity were examined in a replication sample of males aged 17 to 91 years.
