Assessed psychotherapy outcome for 177 patients who were seen for an average of 31 therapy hours with the rating scales for outcome of therapy and a therapist questionnaire. Mildly retarded young adults were given simple and choice reaction time (RT) tests. Subjects' RTs increased with stimulus complexity. RTs of retarded subjects were slower and evidenced more intraindividual variability than those of nonretarded subjects. Several RT parameters were related to measures of intelligence. (Author/RD)

This article reports on the construction of a 60-item inventory for the identification of child abusers. A principal axis factoring with oblique promax rotations was performed to interpret the underlying dimensionality of the predictor items. This paper presents a method which can be used to obtain evidence that the concepts rated on semantic differential scales are appropriate for given study.
