Evaluates the Bardis Familism Scale. Data were collected in 1975 from 586 Indian college students. Results indicate that the scale consists of two separate subscales, labeled Nuclear Familism and Extended Familism, which coincide exactly with Bardis' revised subscales. This article presents reliability and validity evidence on the Anti-Social Activities Attitude Scale. The scale is not intended to predict individual behavior but to assess the moral climate within a population as supportive or restrictive of antisocial acts. The scale itself is included. (SJL)

Presented are normative data, collected on an unselected sample of 302 seven- and nine-year-old children, for the Missouri Children's Behavior Checklist. The construction and validation of the Life Experience Inventory (LEI) for the identification of creative electrical engineers are described. Using the number of patents held or pending as a criterion measure, the LEI was found to have high concurrent validity. (JKS)

Validity evidence from several studies for a nonverbal measure of self-esteem, the Sliding Person Test (SPERT), is presented. Results of the studies indicate the utility of the measure for elementary through college students. (JKS)

Children from grades 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 were administered a modification of Ellis' eleven irrational beliefs questionnaire. As predicted, the younger children showed higher irrational scores, indicating that endorsing irrational beliefs is a function of age. Construct validity and uses of the scale are discussed. This article contains a summary of the predictive data obtained in a follow-up study of students who entered four Ottawa high schools in September 1971.
