Describes development of a brief scale to assess public attitudes toward homelessness (PATH). Responses of 222 adults in New York (New York) to the PATH scale and 5 brief scales suggest the PATH scale's reliability and construct validity. This study evaluated the reliability and validity of the Blind Learning Aptitude Test with 193 Indian children (ages 8-15) with visual impairments and the relationship between time to complete and test performance. Results indicated satisfactory validity and reliability and completion rates of 30 to 133 minutes. (DB)

Fifty-seven primary-level students completed the Detroit Tests of Learning Aptitude-Primary: Second Edition (DTLA-P:2) and the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-Educational Battery, Part I and II. A procedure for testing the ability of dental students to detect presence and depth of dental caries was evaluated.
