Information on the backgrounds of about 3,000 certified dermatologists listed in the Directory of Medical Specialists was cross-tabulated by computer during 1976. Among the four variables studied--state of birth, medical education, internship, and residency occurred--the strongest influence on location was residency training. (LBH)
