Analyzed the effects of order of counseling and sex within counseling pairs. Results indicated that same sex or opposite sex pairing and ordinal position did not influence performances. Women, however, produced more reflection-of-feeling responses, and their responses tended to be more accurate than those of men. (Author/BL)

Investigated sex differences in work values. Significant sex differences were found on 18 of 25 values with women rating 12 of these values higher than men. However, despite item differences, there was a clear trend toward similarity in the importance of work outcomes among women and men. (Author/BL)

A study designed to determine whether graduate students could be taught to use visual thinking for problem solving stressed two activities: (1) imagery for problem solving, and (2) active participation by students. Administered the Luscher Color Test and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory to 42 counseling graduate students.
