Examined the contributions of Task Uncertainty and Perceptual Cohesiveness to changes in block design performance in older adults (N=83). Results showed performance changed significantly over the age span as a function of Task Uncertainty but after age 49 performance was not affected by Perceptual Cohesiveness. (JAC)

Administered a modified Stroop Color-Word Test to healthy males (N=80) aged 21-90 years as part of a study of neuropsychological functioning. Results showed differences on simple reading tasks; however, significant age effects were observed for the color naming and interference tasks. (LLL)

Used the records of 426 Canadian hockey games to investigate the relationships between crowd size and density, and both player aggression and performance. Results showed crowd size was negatively related to aggression and performance of visiting teams while crowd density was negatively related to the overall performance of both teams. (JAC)
