Paternal nurturance and some of its components were correlated significantly and positively with the children's IQ scores in the retesting, suggesting that these paternal behaviors may foster cognitive development. A Rorschach Index based on ego-psychological conceptualization of an optimal personality picture predicted for 155 trainees was compared with predictions from the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) and the Strong Vocational Interest Blank (SVIB).
