From the literature on economic, scientific, technological, social, and political futurism an appropriate selection has been made for an undergraduate college course on the future of politics, which has twice been offered at the University of Delaware. Justification and features of the course are described. (LBH)

Findings of this study indicate that variables pertaining to students' value systems were statistically significant predictors of their sex attitudes and that parent attitudes toward sex are an influence on the attitudes of their sons and daughters. (MB)

Open admission college undergraduates who were successful in college were administered the Adjective Check List, measuring Achievement, Aggression, and Deference. Achievement and Aggression accounted for 21 percent of the variance in grade point average (GPA). High School GPA was also found to account for 10 percent of the variance. (GDC)

Topics include (1) the labor force and projected changes in its composition, (2) economic growth, (3) expected changes in the industrial structure of the economy, (4) occupational employment, and (5) the education-work relationship. The main focus of this study was past and present performance on standardized tests compared to teachers' estimates of student performance. Teachers' estimates were good predictors, but teachers tended to overestimate students' grades. This may affect the worth of teachers' advice to students. (VM)
