Investigates home ownership differences among 12 racial and ethnic groups using the Public Use Sample data of the 1980 Census. Majority group members have the greatest probability of home ownership. Results support an assimilation perspective on home ownership. (SLD)

Among 71 eighth and twelfth graders surveyed in Menominee Indian School District (Wisconsin), eighth-grade males and females had similar school experiences with computers, but twelfth-grade females were significantly less likely than males to enroll in computer-oriented classes or to use computer games and graphics. The degree to which teachers' sense of efficacy and other hypothesized influences on commitment to teaching predicts responses to the question of whether they would enter teaching again was studied for 170 elementary school teachers. Examines how maternal characteristics and work values are related to work values of adolescent children for 93 Israeli eleventh graders and their mothers.
