To influence children in deciding not to smoke, a program, Wisconsin Athletes Against Cancer, was designed and implemented in grades four through eight. Athletes served as role models and delivered anti-smoking messages. Athlete preparation, the presentation format, and feedback and evaluation methods are discussed. (JN)

Health educators need to assist students in becoming more effective peer educators so that they can provide accurate information and advice concerning health and safety behavior to their peers. An effective peer education technique is role modeling, in which a peer imitates the meritorious behavior of the peer educator. (JN)

As law schools shed their pervasive elitism, clinical training will grow in scope and importance. Lawyers who meet the demands of a broad-based clientele cannot function with the limited skills that traditional education has provided. Sons expected fathers to be more nurturing and recreational than parent groups. There was no difference in problem solving. Items measured what fathers should do, not what the subjects' fathers did.
