A current study of major changes in the behavioral science curriculum in a family practice residency is reported. The survey instrument appears to be highly reliable for assessing graduates' perspectives on specific aspects of residency training in the behavioral sciences. (MLW)

A survey of the 76 graduates of Kent State's applied sociology masters program, designed to prepare students for employment outside academe, found one graduate employed outside her field, four who continued their education and became practicing sociologists, and a majority who used their training as human service practitioners. The differences between graduates who were in different curricula at Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine were identified. Surveyed 41 graduates of a school counseling program for specialists with hearing impaired individuals. Results indicated that almost all graduates were employed in settings consistent with their training. Continuing education needs were in consultation skills, networking strategies, and administrative and management training. (JAC)

Examined the persistence in student affairs work of 170 graduates between 1971 and 1981 of a master's program in student personnel.
