A study of the careers of American Council on Education fellows after completion of their fellowships is reported. Faster advancement of White males in administrative positions is corroborated, with some exceptions. A survey of businesspersons in Michigan revealed the legal topics they would like to have been exposed to in undergraduate business study. The lawyer-client relationship was the single most important legal area cited. It is recommended that business law be made more readily available to business professionals. (MSE)

Reports the results of a statewide survey in Texas which asked learning resources specialists to (1) rate the importance of 60 competency statements describing functional job-related skills, (2) rate their own ability to perform these functions, and (3) indicate where they felt continuing education was needed. Principals and teachers in a Utah school district rated the quality of new teachers compared to experienced teachers and determined areas of strength and weakness reflected from a teacher training program.
