At the University of Florida, simulated experiences with disabled clients help bridge the gap between coursework and internships for recreation therapy students. Actors from the university's drama department act out the roles of handicapped persons, who are interviewed by therapy students. (PP)

A survey of 126 medical schools examined the extent of behavioral sciences curriculum coordination efforts. Results yielded information about coordinators' sex, background, specialty, program attitudes, and hours spent in behavioral sciences (lecture and small group) in the curriculum. (MSE)

Since 1980, the University of Keele (England) and the Katholieke Hogeschool at Tilburg (Netherlands) have been developing joint programs of study between universities in the European community.
