Conducted a follow-up study of a three-week, university sponsored death and dying symposium to measure attitudes of nonattendees. A study of maladjusted, under-reacting children in England as they made the transition from junior high to secondary school and during the following four years showed that the maladjusted group made a more satisfactory adjustment than was anticipated. Assessed clinically test anxious students (N=14) who had been administered a treatment program consisting of relaxation skill training, cognitive restructuring and systematic desensitization. Results indicated a maintenance of decreased levels of test anxiety and continued reductions in trait anxiety and irrationality at a 12-month follow-up. (LLL)

A comparative follow-up study was conducted to assess long-term benefits of full-day (versus half-day) kindergarten programs as children entered third or fourth grade.
