Interviewed 88 adolescents to determine their needs and attitudes about sex education. Content analysis showed three areas in need of revision: format, curriculum and lecturer. This study tested four hypotheses demonstrating reference group support is an influential factor in deciding not to have children. Results show the majority of women who wished to remain childless had support for that decision although they characteristically had fewer reference groups than females who looked forward to having children.
