In this survey, author finds that satisfied students are more willing to discuss problems with their residence hall counselors than less satisfied students and that females were more positive about the concept of residence counseling and often described their counselors differently than did males. Describes a new approach to career guidance called the Occ-U-Sort Kit, a card sort available in libraries, to help individuals consider career options and identify sources of help. A study examined how older adults in five large American cities use their local parks. Specifically, the study examined: (1) user motivation and satisfaction; (2) logistics of park use; (3) onsite behavior and attitudes; and (4) criticisms of the park environment.
