Universities are looking for new ways to reallocate resources to meet the changes in high- and low-demand courses. Four alternative strategies are discussed including: limit enrollment in high-demand areas, accommodate demand by having large classes, faculty members in high-demand areas, and retrain or reallocate faculty.
