The program emphasized self-assessment as a basic step in career planning and utilized a variety of resources. Workshops were conducted on personal assessment and on defining motivational job skills. The satellite was launched in 1966 by NASA, which has permitted educational broadcasting. Ground stations have been set up in eight countries that support the university.
