A questionnaire was developed to identify the information needs of high school students (N=733) regarding college selection decisions. Academic and financial aid programs received top priority. Students were generally concerned with receiving the necessary training to enter their chosen professions. (RC)

Evidence from four Eastern and three Western European countries suggests that there has been some convergence in the application of manpower and social demand criteria to higher education planning.
