Occupational interest scales and homogeneous scales were developed and compared on a sample of 3,072 Air Force personnel in a double cross-validation design. The results support the contention that the Occupational Alternatives Question, in spite of its simplicity, yields coherent and meaningful results relative to vocational indecision.
