Bibliotherapy is the process of helping children find books that will help them personally. (JH)

Family therapy tends to see all pathology as due to interactional patterns in the current family system. A more realistic approach regards pathologies as falling on a continuum of current family relationships. Family therapy is also sometimes contraindicated in certain cases. (Author/NG)
