This study of 28 males study was oriented to discriminating impotence of biogenic origins from psychogenic etiology on the basis of a psychological inventory, the DSFI. Evaluation of the increase in predictive efficiency with use of the DSFI revealed it to be of value in clinical assessment of male potency disorders. (Author)

Age changes in categorization and conceptual styles were studied using an object-sorting task in 276 subjects representing seven age groups. Significant age effects were found in the analysis of variance for four of six measures; there were no significant sex or interaction effects. (Author)

This laboratory study of self-monitoring effects examined hypotheses that the direction of reactive effects is a function of the perceived value of the target behavior and that neither the behavior's value nor self-monitoring alone is sufficient to produce significant effects but that both are necessary. This study focuses upon the relationship between phase of the menstrual cycle and sexual arousability. Women (N=133) participated in an experiment that induced sexual arousal by means of an erotic story. Independent factors were use of contraceptive pills versus no contraceptive pills and phase of the menstrual cycle. (Author)

The present study is a replication of a study published by Hobbs a decade ago. Results confirm what was found in 1965. New parents had only slight amounts of difficulty in adjusting to the first child and mothers reported significantly greater amounts of difficulty than did fathers. (Author)
