Multiple regression analysis indicated a significant relationship between course entry attitudes and end-of-course ratings for students reporting precourse expectations prior to entry into the course. Different sets of items from the Course Entry Scale were found to predict end-of-course ratings for different groups of students studied. (Author/PN)

A survey of faculty attitudes shows that, although the existing evaluation system--including peer, graduate student, and undergraduate student assessments--is perceived as narrow in focus, ineffective in improving teaching, and inflexible, faculty are optimistic that a satisfactory system is possible. Assessed the effects of changing the kindergarten school day. Studied two school systems, with the experimental groups attending a full-day, every-other-day program.
