A sample of conference proceedings received at the National Lending Library in 1970 has been analyzed for publication delay, physical form, subject, publisher, size, language and presence of indexes, synopses, and discussions. In investigating two samples of psychological reports, the results showed that the reports either provided new and significant information or provided information which confirmed information previously suspected but not well established.
