Based on this study, the relationship between competency in the application of shorthand theory and achievement in shorthand dictation becomes increasingly evident as the time-interval between dictation and transcription increases. (CH)

Profiles of 149 male marriage counselors were analyzed for mean of scales, standard deviations, variances, and for high and low point characteristics. Of these, 139 were judged by the writer as to ability to perform as marriage counselors. Symbolic interaction theory is the framework within which this research was done. (Author)

Examined the effects of race of examiner and level of mistrust of Whites on the Stanford-Binet performance of 105 Black elementary school children. The internal reliability of the Speech Sounds Perception Test was examined in two independent samples.
