Many colleges have increased the grant aid but on most campuses, the major available alternative is employment opportunities. Describes the computer hardware and software programs developed by Anne Arundel County, Maryland to integrate the use of the computer into upper level literature classes. The influence of social background, sex and intelligence on the utilization of study assistance in Sweden and the influence of all these variables on degree completion among students in higher education are investigated.
