Three studies were conducted to assess age-related changes in children's compliant helping behavior (helping directed toward a peer at an adult's request) in relationship to (1) information about another's need, (2) knowledge about how to help, and (3) the helper's perception of interpersonal and situational constraints on helping. The computer interfaced with biofeedback instruments was used to assess need projections while viewing 132 picture slides in 11 areas of one's life space. A typical computerized questionnaire assessed stress for the dominant side projections. Interpretation was based on comparison with corresponding group norms. (Author/NQA)

A teacher's system for using a computer to assess children's performance in physical fitness and sports skills is described. A format for half-day or weekend projects that permit physically and/or mentally disabled persons to participate in special dance programs on college campuses is presented.
