Argues that movements employ a series of strategic guiding "topoi" and examines activism, antagonism, agonism, and futurism. Concludes that when all four rhetorical topoi are present an "avant-garde" movement of radical proportions exists. (JMF)

Errors of misclassification and their effects on categorical data analysis are discussed. The chi-square test for equality of two proportions is examined in the context of errorful categorical data. Explores the utility of reciprocal two-point code type classifications of Personality Inventory for Children (PIC) profiles and evaluates a second classification scheme based upon groupings of empirically and conceptually similar PIC code types.
