Studied the relationship between counselor performance and group counseling outcome. College students (N=28) were assigned to one of four counseling groups, and outcome was judged by three doctoral counselor trainees. Results showed higher levels of counselor empathy and confrontation were associated with more favorable outcomes. (JAC)
