Simmons, James G.; And Others – Criminal Justice and Behavior, 1981
The Megargee and Dorhout classificatory rules were applied to 181 MMPI profiles from inmates at a Level 4 Federal Correctional Institution. Fifty of these inmates were retested and reclassified. Only 14 of these 50 inmates retained their original type designation upon retesting. (Author)

In a Swedish sample of five autistic children (12 to 18 years old), deterioration or severe symptom aggravation at the onset of puberty that followed earlier improvement is described. It is suggested that autistic children with pubertal deterioration may constitute a meaningful subgroup of the syndrome. (Author/SB)

Cluster analysis, applied to Carroll's cognitive theory, indicates that the obtained clusters make intuitive sense and imply that taxonomy is possible. Moreover, some clusters are similar to those suggested by other theories, especially the theory of fluid and crystallized intelligence. (Author/CP)

Examines the characteristics of subject headings found in OCLC cataloging records. The study analyzed a sample of 33,455 monographic records taken from the OCLC database, and found that 94 percent of the subject headings used were Library of Congress subject headings.
