Law enforcement students (n=72) were placed according to marksmanship scores in treatment and control groups. During firearms training, treatment groups received guided imagery mental practice. Mean marksmanship posttest scores were 32.86 points higher for treatment groups, and gains were largest for those with low pretest scores. (SK)
