The changes in existing specialties and the demographic composition of medical school classes suggested that the predictive validity of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator should be reexamined. Scores from the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE) served as the criterion variable in a comparison of the predictive validity of the Dental Hygiene Aptitude Tests (DHAT) and the ACT Assessment tests.
