In this study a group of disturbed teachers whose credentials were revoked were compared on credential application forms, health records and transcripts to a group of unrevoked teachers. The revoked group were older and it appears from the results of the study did not enter the field of teaching as their first choice career. (JC)

The major thesis of the study held that if teachers are given opportunities to examine, discuss, and model certain behaviors that have been judged to be effective classroom behaviors, then the children they teach will regard themselves more positively.
