Summarized are the planning and implementing activities for the two-day program entitled Exploration Through Technology, developed as part of the Research and Development Project in Career Education, Milford, Mebraska. The proposal presents the utilization of the Nebraska Technical Community College as a communtiy resource. Objectives were to provide secondary students with an exploratory experience, to provide students with at least one competency, and to enhance the concept of community services. Eighteen mini-courses (four to six hours in length) were provided in five curriculum divisions: business occupations, auto and diesel occupations, construction occupations, electrical and electronics occupations, and manufacturing and fabrication occupations. Examples of the course structure and content for three mini-courses are given, and results of evaluation procedures are presented. (SC)
