The Department of Secondary Education in the College of Education at the University of Illinois has been involved in the educational application of computers for nearly ten years. This report documents past and future activities (i.e., programs, emphasis, concerns) and structure (i.e., staffing, equipment, funding) within the Department. Appendices list 24 publications in the "Illinois Series on Educational Applications of Computers," products of the Department, and indicate the costs of various components of microcomputer systems.
